What this website is

Lucky Silver Cloud is an independent travel and destination guide. We publish editorial information about Australian hill regions, viewpoints, walking trails, weekend itineraries and types of accommodation.

We are not a travel agency, tour operator, accommodation provider, booking platform or licensed adviser of any kind. We do not take bookings, hold inventory, accept payment for travel or act as agent for any provider.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Tourism Australia, any state or territory tourism organisation, any local council, any national park authority or any business mentioned on this site.

Accuracy of information

We prepare our guides carefully and in good faith, but travel information dates quickly. Opening hours, access arrangements, road and track status, transport options, business ownership and seasonal conditions all change without notice.

Distances, walking times, difficulty descriptions and driving times on this site are approximate and provided for planning purposes only. They are not a substitute for current information published by the relevant park authority, land manager, road authority or business.

We make no representation that any information on this site is complete, current or fit for a particular purpose, and we do not guarantee prices, availability or that any provider offers the best rate available.

Outdoor activity and personal responsibility

Walking, hiking, driving on rural roads and visiting remote or elevated locations carry inherent risks. Weather, fire danger, track condition, wildlife and your own fitness and experience all affect whether an activity is safe for you on a given day.
