An independent guide, run small on purpose
Lucky Silver Cloud is an independent Australian travel and destination guide. We publish free guides to hill regions, scenic viewpoints, walking trails, weekend itineraries and the kinds of places worth staying when you get there.
We are a small editorial team rather than a media group, and we do not take bookings, sell packages or operate tours. What we do is go to places, work out what is actually worth someone’s weekend, and write it down clearly.
Lucky Silver Cloud is an independent travel information project. The site may be supported in future through relevant referral or affiliate partnerships. No referral links are live on the site today, and none of our editorial choices are made with a commission in mind.

Track conditions, closures, fire danger and weather come from the relevant land manager and emergency services. Our trail notes are for planning, not for safety decisions.
